Sarah Minion, MS is a PhD candidate in the Epidemiology program at The University of Pittsburgh while also a MD candidate at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine. At the University of Pittsburgh, she works under her mentor Dr. Catherine Haggerty. Her research interests include geospatial accessibility to maternal healthcare services and the impact of inadequate spatial accessibility on pre- and antenatal outcomes. Her long-term goal is to work as a physician-scientist at an academic hospital.
